AN arson probe has been launched by police after a fire near Maldon.
Essex Police has launched the arson investigation following a fire in Great Totham, near Maldon.
It was reported to police that the incident occurred at an address in Broad Street Green Road between 1pm and 8.35pm on Saturday (April 2).
Logs and machinery "worth a five figure sum" were damaged, police say.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to contact them.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "Our enquiries are ongoing, and we need anyone who saw anything or has dash cam footage to contact us."
