THE A12 is closing shortly which is expected to cause delays for Maldon drivers.
Drivers in Maldon and its surrounding areas should be aware of an upcoming closure of part of the A12.
The A12 northbound and southbound will be closing from 9pm on March 9 to 5am on March 24.

It will be closed from junction 11 to junction 33 (M25 to A14), where there will be lane closures for cutting and planting works on behalf of Ringway.
It is expceted to cause minor delays of about ten minutes.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
