THE Maldon MP has praised a new housing development in Burnham.

John Whittingdale, MP for Maldon, visited Corinthian Place and says he is pleased "more high quality homes" are being built in the constituency.

The development launched in 2019 and is a popular location for house hunters in the town.

Mr Whittingdale said: “I was most impressed by the high quality of the new homes as well as the standards of construction.

"I warmly congratulate the site manager, James Armstrong, on achieving recognition of this by winning in the Job Quality Awards and also Rob Ruffy and Jordan Cannon on their awards for managing the construction sites in North Fambridge and Southminster.

"David Wilson Homes have an excellent record in providing quality homes in the district and I have no doubt that these three developments will prove extremely popular.”
