Here is a selection of animals from the RSPCA branches in Essex and the affiliated Danaher Animal House who are looking for a forever home.
There are some animals from the Essex Mid & North branch, the Essex South West branch and the Danaher Animal Home.
If you think you would be able to rehome one of them go to either the Essex Mid & North and Essex South West websites or the Danaher Animal House website for details.
You can also donate to the charities to help it carry on its rescue work at the same websites.
Macy
Gender – Female
Age – Eight years old (approx.)
Breed – Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Colour – Grey
Macy is a dog who very much enjoys a walk on a lead, but will occasionally pull to get towards some of the more exciting smells around.
She doesn’t mind being left on her own and is often quite happy to have a bit of a snooze.
Additionally, she does have slightly itchy skin on the top of her head and may need tablets to help with this. It may be possible to control through a hypoallergenic diet but as a new resident to the branch, the RSPCA haven’t had time to try this yet.

Simba
Gender - Male
Age – One year old (approx.)
Breed – Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour – Ginger tabby
Simba is a bit of a nervous cat and will need a quiet and calm household to help him settle in.
He will gradually settle and start to become more confident, but he will probably want some cosy places to hide just at first.
He has been picked up and handled, but he soon wants to be put down again. However, if you have time to spend with him, he will soon come out of his shell.
