A POPULAR pumpkin patch reopened for visitors this week - just in time for the spooky season.

The pumpkin patch at Cobbs Farm opened on Friday and will be open to residents until next Sunday, October 31.

This working farm in Goldhanger opens its gates for just a few days each year for residents to pick the perfect Halloween pumpkins.

Guests can choose from thousands of homegrown pumpkins on the farm, which can be found in Maldon Road.

They may even be greeted by one of the farm's resident peacocks like Percy.

The pumpkin patch will open from 10am until 4pm daily.

There's no need to book, and entry and parking are both free.
