AN open day is being held to get villagers talking about ways to reduce the impact of climate change.

Tollesbury Climate Partnership (TCP) is is a voluntary organisation run by members.

Its vision is to work together to reduce the impact of climate change and protect the village for future generations.

Tollesbury Climate Partnership is set to host an open day in the parish rooms in the village.

The event on Saturday, October 30, will explore ways to tackle climate change with family-friendly fun activities.

This includes learning why hedges help wildlife and exploring the marine life for a chance to win a prize.

Visitors can learn how to grow and swap seeds, convert bikes to electric, and discover tips to make their homes cosy this winter.

The event will run from 11am to 3pm.

Visitors can let the TCP know they are coming online at facebook.com/tollesburyclimatepartnership or just turn up on the day.

You can also join the group’s initiative for £1 by contacting hello@tollesbury climate.org.
