AN Essex library is closing for 8 weeks for refurbishment.

Wickham Bishops library is closing from this week (Monday, September 6) as upgrades are taking place.

Essex Council say the library at present is an older style library building in need of modernisation.

Upgrades taking place include heating, damp proofing and internal painting.

Wickham Bishops library is found in School Road.

It is usually open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, apart from bank holidays.
