CHILDREN and their teddies enjoyed a fun picnic - with a visit from the town mayor.
Maldon Carnival hosted its annual teddy bear's picnic with Tiny Sing on Wednesday, August 18.
Last year's picnic couldn’t go ahead because of Covid-19.
More than 50 children and their teddies attended the picnic, including carnival princess Amy.
They were visited by Maldon town mayor David Ogg and his wife, mayoress Sharon.
All the children enjoyed fun and games from Tiny Sing, and lollies and free strawberries courtesy of Tesco's in Maldon.

This year's procession has been replaced by Maldon Carnival's Bounce Bonanza inflatable day, which will be held on Saturday, August 28, at Plantation Hall.
Only a few VIP tickets are left, which can be purchased at bit.ly/389MFia or call 07572 755143.
Tiny Sing is aimed at babies and toddlers to give them an early introduction to music.
