A GROUP of textile artists are marking their 20th anniversary with an exhibition in Maldon.
The Essex-based Material Girls have exhibited in the UK and internationally for the past two decades, as well as giving demonstrations and talks, leading workshops and organising community projects.
They are also creative partners with National Trust property Rainham Hall.
Plans had been in place for a large celebratory exhibition to mark the anniversary.
Now the group is to show part of the exhibition at the Maeldune Centre in Maldon in August this year.
The 'Enchanted Garden’ features textile and mixed media pieces exploring what each artist finds magical about gardens.
The exhibition runs from August 19 to September 4, Tuesday to Saturday, from 11am to 4pm.
Admission is free.
