CHILDREN and staff at a primary school dressed as key workers to celebrate the birthday of Florence Nightingale.
Youngsters at Woodham Walter Primary looked "amazing" in their outfits, which ranged from nurses and police officers to an inventive Boris Johnson and a realistic site manager.
The children took part in a 'live in history experience' where they learnt about the life and times of the 'Lady with the Lamp' and enjoyed re-enacting a scene from the Crimean War.
There was even a special lunch consisting of a typical roast dinner with pigs in bandages, a ration of potatoes, lemon barley water and scurvy-beating lemon posset for dessert.
