POLICE are appealing for information after a callous thief stole a widow’s purse containing photos of her late husband.
The incident happened on May 4 at around 1pm outside the Morrisons in Maldon.
A spokesman said: “The purse contains irreplaceable pictures of her late husband with her children.
“We would like to see the return of the priceless photographs.”

The purse, like the one pictured, has a black leather finish and a black leather strap.
Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident 572 of May 4.
