A CAR was left on its side after a crash over the weekend.
Two people were left trapped in their car in an accident in Maldon’s high street on Saturday (April 24).
Emergency services, including two fire crews from Maldon, reached the partially blocked road at 5.30pm near the Maldon Pie and Mash shop.
Fire crews were thankfully able to rescue them from their vehicle by 6.03pm.
A fire spokesman said: “Luckily, there were no injuries and the persons involved were just checked over by the Ambulance service as a precaution.”
