A COUNCIL is reminding dog owners to keep their pets on a leash as the rules come back from tomorrow (April 1).
Maldon District have several public spaces protection orders in place which require dogs to be always on a lead from April 1 to September 30.
The areas this affects includes Promenade Park, Riverside Park and Burnham’s quay front.
This also applies to cemeteries in Maldon, Heybridge and Burnham, and all children’s play sites.

The council’s orders came into effect from March 2019 and will be in place until February 28, 2022.
