THERE are now less than 50 cases of Covid in the Maldon district, figures show.
According to Government data, In the seven days leading up to February 16, Maldon’s infection rate stood at 75.5 per 100,000 with 49 cases.
When focusing on the specific areas within the district, all eight have ten or less Covid cases.
Tollesbury, Tolleshunt & Goldhanger remains an area with less than three cases.
The place with the highest infection rate is Great Totham, Wickham Bishops & Woodham at 133.5 per 100,000.
