BOTH the infection rate and cases of Covid in Maldon district have now dipped below 100, figures show.
According to Government data, In the seven days leading up to February 12, Maldon’s infection rate stood at 92.4 per 100,000 with 60 cases.
When focusing on the specific areas within the district, six out of eight have ten or less Covid cases.
Maldon South is now the second area in the district to have fewer than three cases, alongside Tollesbury, Tolleshunt & Goldhanger.
The place with the highest rate is Heybridge at 163.8 per 100,000.
