POLICE are appealing for information after two people attempted to burgle a house in broad daylight.
Detectives are investigating the incident which happened in Halstead on December 6 at around 2.30pm.
A spokesman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted break in at a property in Howe Chase, Halstead.
"Would-be thieves tried to force their way into the home, causing damage to the door, but failed and nothing was taken."
The two suspects, who are yet to be identified, were seen to be using an Electric Blue Peugeot 206.
