"On a personal note, it’ll be my third year of entering the Race and I’d highly recommend it, both as an individual challenge or a team event.

"It’s a great day and even for the fitness enthusiast, this is a real challenge! And as a family day out, it’s a real spectacle so we hope the our impressive cars will add value to a superb day out."

Porsche Centre, Colchester have sponsored the event for the past two years.

Maldon Mud Race Chairman, Brian Farrington, said, "We couldn’t be more pleased - its another big hurdle overcome to have our headline sponsor in place and the team at Porsche have been a pleasure to work with throughout our relationship.

"We expect entries into the Race to go very quickly as many who missed out in 2020 will have rolled their place into 2021 so we urge you to register now!"
