A COUNCIL is making changes to an annual gardening competition due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Maldon Town Council is hosting the Maldon in Bloom contest for the 21st year.
This year, the team is organising a smaller competition for residents and allotment holders to showcase all of their hard work during the lockdown.
Entries will include front gardens, hanging baskets, planters and allotment plots with a red, white, blue in celebration of the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
Entry forms need to be in by Monday, June 15, with judging taking place in the week beginning June 29.
