There will be a Grand Christmas Bazaar in the Wickham Bishops Village Hall this Saturday, November 17.
There will be lots of stalls from which to purchase Christmas presents, play tombola, and take part in competitions and a raffle. Father Christmas will visit, too.
The Bazaar will start at 1pm and continue until 4pm. Entry will cost only 50p per person. Come and enjoy yourself.
BRIDGE CLUB
We were up to eight tables for bridge on Wednesday evening. The winners, sitting North/ South, were Alan Simmons and Keith Heron with 59.38 per cent.
Second were George and Tricia Miller with 55.90 per cent and third were David Walker and Peter Thomas with 50 per cent.
Sitting East/West, the winners were Bryan and Jill Booth with 61.11 per cent. They were followed by Evelyn Moule and Mary Richardson with 56.75 per cent and Ann Owen and Michael Lager with 54.76 per cent.
