A Gosport woman has been jailed after stealing more than £800 worth of meat and alcohol from the same shop over a ten day crime spell.
Charlie Ann Young, aged 28 from The Limes in Gosport was charged with eight counts of theft from a shop, and was sentenced to four months in prison.
The incidents all took place in Brockhurst gate and these include:
On February 7 she stole meat and alcohol worth £214.10 from Marks & Spencer
On February 9 she stole meat worth £29 from Marks & Spencer
On February 11 she stole meat worth £36 from Food Warehouse, as well as meat worth £127 from Marks & Spencer
On February 12 she stole meat worth £132 from Marks & Spencer
On February 13 she stole meat worth £103 from Marks & Spencer
On February 16 she stole meat worth £90 from Marks & Spencer
On February 17 she stole meat worth £124 from Marks & Spencer
The 28-year-old appeared before Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Monday February 24, where she admitted all of the offences and was sentenced to four months in prison.
