ABOUT 80 parishioners squeezed into a church to enjoy a concert.

The event, on Valentine's Day, at Horeb Church in Dyserth, was in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

The evening was led by the Cor Clwyd Choir, with their musical director Angela, who sang a wide variety of music from John Rutter's For the Beauty of the Earth to Abba's Chiquitita.

The choir was accompanied by John Liddon-Few who also accompanied soloists Paul Robinson and soloist Erin Swyn Williams.

The audience was left 'captivated' by a performance by Erin

A spokesperson for the event said: "Erin's voice filled the hall in strong clear tones and sheer beauty."

More music was provided by the handbell ringers from the Marble Church.

Cash raised came to more than £300.
