STORM Dennis has left a trail of devastation across Mid Wales' sporting venues.
The majority of the Mid Wales football, rugby and hockey programmes fell foul of the weather with many leagues cancelling fixtures on Friday evening.
The storm swept the region on Saturday with gale force winds and heavy rainfall leaving many pitches unplayable and others submerged.
The road to Caersws Football Club's Recreation Ground was totally lost to flooding while Builth Wells Rugby Club's Groe ground was left under water.
Throughout the region the winds and rainfall left a trail of devastation in their wake as rivers burst their banks with the clean up operation not expected to get underway until the water subsides next week.
