RESIDENTS are appealing for information on the vehicle which ploughed through their garden wall in the middle of the night.
The occupants of Hill House Park in Market Hill, Maldon had a rude awakening in the early hours of January 18 as the boundary wall to the property was demolished.
More than eight feet of the wall has crumbled down, leaving only large smears of red car paint and plastic body work.
However, while the residents are hoping to catch those responsible, details around the incident are still a mystery.
One resident who lived nearby said “nobody seems to know anything about anything”.
The residents who lived closest to the wall allegedly “did not hear a thing”.
Despite this, no damage to the main building or the two trees behind the wall was sustained.
