One lorry driver had an unfortunate end to Thursday after his vehicle was held due to over £30,000 of unpaid fines.
GMP's Safer Roads Targetting Team were in Bolton for another incident when they spotted the HGV.
A tweet from GMP Traffic said the vehicle was stopped and officers discovered the company owed the UK Border Force a whopping £32,400 in fines.
Police detained the vehicle, releasing it after the amount was paid in full.
