A HOSPICE is holding memorial services across mid Essex to remember loved ones this Christmas.
Farleigh Hospice is inviting the public to Light Up A Life services taking place throughout December.
The services are around a Christmas tree which will be covered with lights shining in memory of absent friends and family.
A hospice spokesman said: “The services not only allow people time to reflect, but also offer comfort and support during what can be a difficult time of the year.
“A donation to the Farleigh’s Light Up A Life appeal will enable doctors, nurses, bereavement counsellors, and therapists to provide care and support during the Christmas period and throughout the coming year.”
The services take place at St Leonard’s Churchyard in Southminster on Wednesday, December 4, at 7pm; St Mary’s Church in Burnham on Thursday, December 5, at 7pm; All Saints’ Church in Maldon on Monday, December 9 at 7pm; and at St Mary’s Church in Tollesbury on Thursday, December 12 at 6.30pm.
