GUESTS are set to marvel at the classic tale set in the magical land of Oz.
Maldon Pantomime Society’s showing of The Wizard of Oz will be in January and tickets are available soon.
A spokesman said: “After arriving in Munchkin Land, Dorothy Gale, played by Annie Campbell (pictured), travels the Yellow Brick Road on her journey to the Emerald City.
“Along the way she meets a host of Ozians, not all of them friendly, as she follows her quest to return to Auntie Em and Uncle Henry back in Kansas.
“Expect a Scarecrow, a Tin Man and a Lion and all the usual twists and turns we have come to love as the story unfolds. Don’t forget to boo at the Wicked Witch of the West.
“Featuring many of your regular favourites plus a host of newcomers on the stage this year’s production is likely to be a sell-out so early booking is advised.”
Performances will be on January 17, 18, 24 and 25.
Tickets are available from December 2 and cost £11 for adults, £9 for concessions, £35 for a family of two adults and two children and £13 for a balcony seat.
Tickets can be bought from Maldon Town Hall or by calling 07565 588680 or visiting maldonpanto@outlook.com.
The pantomime at the town hall will be collecting money for Home Start.Visit maldonpanto.co.uk.
