TWO drug dealers who distributed thousands of pounds worth of cocaine and cannabis have been jailed.

Eraldo Saraseli, 20, of no fixed address and Klaudio Ago, 27, of Bristol Gardens will be deported to Albania once they have served their sentences.

Police say the men supplied more than £23,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis in Brighton.

Police spotted the pair involved in suspected drug dealing on April 28 in St James’s Street , Brighton, and they were later seen going in and out of a flat in nearby New Steine.

Police raided the address where they found a large quantity of drugs and cash. But the two men had fled.

Officers returned to the area the next day where they saw Saraseli dealing drugs and arrested him.

Through this they linked him to a flat in Bristol Gardens where they found and arrested Ago - who matched the description of the other man seen with Saraseli in St James’s Street.

They were each charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis in New Steine, Brighton, on April 30.

Saraseli pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, as well as possession of false identity documents. He was sentenced to two years and eight months.

Ago pleaded not guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis but admitted permitting supply of cocaine and cannabis on his premises. He was also sentenced to two years and eight months.

Both men will be deported to Albanian once they have served their sentences.

Inspector Nick Dias said: “This was great work by our prevention, community investigation team and investigation officers to get a significant amount of drugs off the streets and to remove those involved in the supply in the city.”
