RESIDENTS are asked to keep a look out for ‘walking billboards’ as part of a new mental health campaign.
Public Health England today launches the first national NHS mental health campaign, called Every Mind Matters.
The campaign is backed by the Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group and local councils.
They are deploying ‘ad walkers’ to visit Maldon, Braintree and Chelmsford, and residents are being encouraged to take photographs to highlight them on social media.
A spokesman for the Livewell campaign said: “We want to encourage everyone in Essex to look after their mental health.
“Taking proactive steps like increasing physical activity, connecting with others and sleeping well can help with your well-being and we aim to raise awareness about how individuals can improve both their physical and mental health in seven simple steps.”
The ‘ad walkers’ will be visiting Maldon high street again this Saturday.
