Langford’s Museum of Power will be opening its doors once again for an action-packed Model Steam Day and Exhibition.

There will be model railways, tram layouts, model boats, meccano models, steam toys, model carousels and many more models on display.

Guests can also take part in children’s craft transport activities and ‘Marshall’, the impressive Lilleshall pumping engine operated by steam, will be running as well as other oil and diesel engines.

Museum Manager Debbie Thomas said: “There will be a great range of static displays and interactive experiences that will ensure a fun day will be had by all ages.

“The Museum’s miniature train, Astaria Model Village and the Steam Pump will be open to make sure the day is extra special.”

The Steam Day will take place Sunday, October 6 from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Tickets cost £7 for adults, and £3 for children aged 5-15.
