HUNDREDS of people flocked to Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome for a free open day.
The airfield opened its doors to celebrate 25 years of Heritage Opens Days.
Historic planes provided a fly-past and author Annette Carson signed her new book for fans.
Stow Maries boss Ian Flint said: “It’s a chance for our local community to engage with their history.
“We always have a great time delivering it and judging by the many happy faces we saw, it was a booming success!”
