A COMMUNITY choir are offering their service to ‘sing’ the stress away after a major UK tour operator went under.

The BIG Sing choir has responded to the sudden collapse of Thomas Cook which has left thousands of Britons stranded abroad and thousands of jobs at risk.

In a show of solidarity, the group have offered those affected by the news to come and sing at their rehearsals for free.

A spokesman said: “Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the collapse of Thomas Cook.

“Thousands of staff have lost their jobs, customers holidays have been cancelled and people away on holiday have been stressed.

“We just want to send our thoughts and prayers to all those who have been impacted.

“We would like to offer all those affected a free BIG Sing session with our compliments.

“It’s only a small token but we hope we can make you feel a little better.

“Come and join us at rehearsals and sing away the stress - Even if it just helps for a couple of hours.”

To confirm your place, email info@big-sing.com and quote ‘Thomas Cook’.

The group will email attendees with details of their nearest BIG Sing choir.

The choir has venues all over Essex including Maldon, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Rayleigh, Witham, Halstead and Basildon.
