POLICE in Danbury have recovered a knife while out on patrol.
Officers from the Chelmsford and Maldon policing team were out in the village when they came across the blade, as well as a stolen Mini Cooper.
A spokesman for the policing team said: "The team has been busy today in Danbury recovering knives and locating more stolen vehicles.
"We have also been arresting suspects in Central Park, Chelmsford for being very naughty and recovered the victim’s stolen bike."
Knife crime has continued to be top of the priority list amongst officers in Maldon District, following the installation of a knife amnesty bin at Maldon District Council's offices in Princes Road, Maldon in March this year.
If you have any information about suspected knife crime or you suspect someone is carrying a knife, call 101.
