BOSSES at a nuclear power station are encouraging the community to dig out their favourite memories from Bradwell, the Blackwater and the Dengie.

Bradwell B Power Station is set to create a new online archive, which will invite residents in the Maldon district to publish their memories, photographs and films from the past 50 years.

Bosses are inviting anyone who worked at the original station, their friends and family to come together and compile these memories.

The collection will be used to create the ‘My Bradwell’ community memory bank.

Bradwell B CEO Alan Raymant said: “To make this archive special, we’re inviting people to share their memories.

“We will continue to add memories as the Bradwell B project moves forward. I look forward to ‘My Bradwell’ growing bigger by the day.”

The archive is intended to mark the more than 50-year life span of the power station and can be seen at mybradwell.bradwellb.co.uk.

Those interested can email memories, photos and videos to info@bradwellb.co.uk, or use #MyBradwell on social media.
