A COUNCIL is urging residents to keep their voter details up to date.
Maldon District Council sent out forms in the post asking the public to check and update the information that appears on the electoral register.
The form can be filled in and returned by post, telephone, text or online.
Council spokesman Bryan Harker said: “Returning the household enquiry form with the relevant details for your home ensures that the electoral register is correct and that householders can have their say at elections.
“I would like to encourage all residents to respond as soon as possible, so we can make sure we have the right details on the electoral register for every address in the district.”
