A CAVITY-INDUCING pop performance featuring hits from some of the biggest-selling female artists will turn a Halstead theatre into the Top 40 countdown this weekend.

Covers band Pop Divas Live! is bringing its sugary sweet and polished slickness to the Empire Theatre tomorrow, performing songs from music giants such as Katy Perry, Little Mix, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

Comprising numbers that sound as if they have been cherry-picked from the Now That’s What I Call Music track listing, the talented four-piece’s musical artillery will feature juggernaut releases like Black Magic, Shake It Off, Dangerous Woman, We Found Love and many more.

Made up of dazzling vocalists Georgia Tyler-Collins, Lauren Russell, Boo Miller and Kali Dronsfield – all of whom have a penchant for popular music and a CV packed with television and onstage experience – Pop Divas Live! aims to give younger children who aren’t old enough to tackle the stadiums in which their favourite acts often perform, the chance to experience their first concert.

The multi-tribute act’s finely-honed combination of watertight choreography, artistically precise videos and harmonic melodies often incorporates members of the audience who are invited onstage and has recently earned the girls an award nomination.

Creative director for Pop Divas Live! Katie Barker-Dale said: “It’s been amazing to see my vision come to life with the help of a fantastic team. I’ve always wanted to create a show like this and the best part of the whole experience has been seeing the kids and their parents having fun, singing and dancing along together.”

Pop Divas Live! takes place tomorrow from 5pm, with the performance starting at 5.30pm.

Tickets are £13 from the box office on 07778 025490 or online at empire-theatre.co.uk.
