A NURSERY is uprooting after almost four decades to move to a new venue.
Watership Downs Nursery in Downs Road, Maldon, is moving after 39 years.
From September this year, it will have a new home at Brickhouse Farm, in Poulton Close.
Owner Sharon Kennedy, 53, of Maldon said: “We are obviously saddened to move from our current setting.
“However, we are all excited and cannot wait to open in Brickhouse Farm for the next steps in our childcare adventure.
The nursery was started 39 years ago by Barbara Payne and Sharon became the director 11 years ago.
She said: “It is a fantastic nursery and it’s just getting better and better.”
“It has been a journey but we got there in the end.”
The nursery has a new website at watershipdownsnursery.wordpress.com and can be contacted on 01621 858478.
