RESIDENTS from Burnham can speak to safety experts at an event this month.
The Community Action Panel is hosting a roads, safety and crime event outside the Co-op in Foundry Lane on Saturday, July 27, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
It aims to inform people about matters critical to the town and to recruit volunteers to help keep Burnham safe.
Representatives from Essex Highways, Essex Fire and Rescue, Speed Watch, Neighbourhood Watch and the police will attend.
They will be giving advice on road safety, home security and reporting anti-social behaviour.
This is also an opportunity to learn about local voluntary efforts and sign up for volunteering.
For details, search Community Action Panel on Burnham.info.
