POLICE have released an important update on the men who were questioned in connection with the death of a man in Maldon high street.
A 27-year old man from Maldon sadly died after an incident near Iceland on Saturday night left him with life-threatening injuries.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of murder and were taken into custody.
A police spokesman said: “Two men, aged 22 and 23, from Southminster, arrested on suspicion of murder and grievous bodily harm have been released on bail until Monday, July 29.
“A 23-year-old man from Maldon arrested on suspicion murder and grievous bodily harm has been released without charge.
“He remains under investigation in connection with possession of drugs offences.”
