A BUSINESS which has been running for almost 20 years has found a new home in the Dengie.

Embroidery and printing shop Stitch Print, which was originally based in Southminster has now moved into the Old Salt Loft in Burnham.

Owner Nikki Bender has been running Stitch Print for 18 years and has decided to hang up her needles due to poor health.

But she met with husband and wife team Paul and Sarah Buckley at the Old Salt Loft and could see the future of Stitch Print would be in good hands.

Nikki said: “Sarah and Paul share the same passion for the business as me.

“I am delighted that my customers will now get the same great service at the Old Salt Loft.

“It is hard to give up after all this time, but I am sure I’ll be back at the sewing machines with Sarah.”

Sarah added: “We were not looking to expand just now but Stitch Print was an opportunity too good to miss.

“Paul and I look forward to working with Nikki and her customers in future.

“The fix of the two businesses is perfect.

“We have been building our personalised clothing range alongside our recycled sailcloth bags and workwear and leisurewear.

“Stitch Print has a great reputation locally and we will be doing everything we can to win more local business.”

Stitch Print specialised in garment printing and embroidery across workwear, leisurewear, and promotional wear.
