A young biker's family have paid tribute to him following his tragic death in a five vehicle crash.
Joshua Day, 22, was riding his motorbike in Cold Norton Road in Latchingdon when he was involved in a crash with four cars.
The incident took place at 6.10pm on Tuesday May 14.
Following the incident, Joshua sadly passed away at the scene, due to his injuries.
After Joshua's death, Essex Police shut Cold Norton Road for a full day to investigate the incident.
Today, his family have paid tribute to him, saying he died doing what he loved, "riding his motorbike".
A spokesman for his family said: "We are devastated to announce the death of Josh, our much-loved son, brother, twin and friend.
“He was the happiest, smiliest person and will be terribly missed by all of us.
“He died doing what he loved best – riding his motorbike."
Officers from Essex Police's serious sollision investigation Unit are continuing their investigation into Joshua’s death.
Officers ask that anyone with information, or relevant dash cam footage or CCTV, to call them on 101 quoting incident 922 of 14/05.
