The results are in for everyone in this year's Maldon Mud Race.

More than 20,000 people looked on as 270 brave souls got absolutely filthy at what would have been the biggest Mud Race yet.

On Sunday, Promenade Park saw a host of colourful costumes flood the muddy trail and even one man, actor and model Joel Hicks end the race without a single piece of clothing.

Joel took the plunge in name of his charity, Always with a Smile.

Maldon and Burnham Standard:

The fastest Mud Racer this year was Christopher Lee, who completed the route in just three minutes and 38 seconds.

The time is just eight seconds behind the Mud Race all time record.
