A FILM club will be wrapping up its season with two more films this month.
Maldon Film Club will be showing Frantz next Wednesday and The Florida Project on Wednesday, May 29.
Frantz is set in Germany in after the First Wold War.
The film tells of a young woman discovers that a stranger is putting flowers on the grave of her fiancé Frantz, who was killed in action.
The film explores his presence in the small town during a climate of post-war and resentment.
The Florida Project was chosen by the National Board of Review and American Film Institute as one of the top ten films of the year.
The club meets at Maldon Town Hall in Market Hill and doors open at 7.15pm for an 8pm start.
Details of the 2019/20 season, which begins on September 10, will be announced soon.
