The Burnham Branch of the Royal British Legion is arranging to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
A short service will take place at the Burnham War Memorial at 11am on Thursday, June 6.
The standard bearers for the Royal British Legion, Air Cadets and RNLI will be present at the ceremony and the names of all those from the area who died on active service in the Second World War will be read out.
The event is supported by the town council and the mayor will be present.
Members of the Burnham and Dengie community are encouraged to join this short service to show our gratitude for the men and women who sacrificed their life for us.
