Break ins, vandalism, tractor thefts and even damage to a defibrillator are among the incidents reported throughout Maldon District in the last week.

Areas across Maldon including Althorne, Burnham, Great Totham, Heybridge, Mayland, Southminster and Wickham Bishops have all had incidents happen.

This list was compiled from the reports put together by the Maldon District Neighbourhood Watch.

Here's all the incidents, and when they were reported and where they happened at the end of March and the beginning of April.

ALTHORNE

March 30, Green Lane: Suspects unidentified have broken into the victim’s caravan.

The door to the caravan has been wrenched off and the window has been smashed.

The suspect has conducted a messy search and stolen a number of items.

The victim has since moved the caravan from the location.

March 27, Buchanan Way: Suspect unknown has caused damage to the victim’s vehicle by means unknown.

March 31, Lower Burnham Road: Suspect unknown has removed the victim’s tractor which has then been re-located 800 meters up the road.

March 31, New Hall Lane: Suspect unknown have broken into victims shed by cutting three padlocks and removing them.

Access gained, nothing stolen.

Suspects left a generator behind and stole the padlocks.

BURNHAM

March 25, Southminster Road: Suspect unknown has taken the victims orange decathlon B’Twin mountain bike and helmet from bike area.

March 31, Alamein Road: Suspects unknown have thrown a brick at the rear offside window of blue Fiat Grande Punto causing it to smash.

GREAT TOTHAM

March 26, Staplers Close: Suspect unknown has caused damage to the victim’s property by throwing a stone, smashing front bathroom bungalow window.

No suspects seen.

March 26, Colchester Road: Suspect unknown has gained entry to victim’s white Citroen Berlingo van by smashing off the driver side lock.

Once inside tidy search has been made and two bags filled with power and hand tools have been removed from within.

March 26, Broad Street: Suspect unknown has gained entry to the victim’s vehicle by forcing the door handle open causing damage.

Entry gained items removed.

March 28, Broad Street: Suspect unknown has stolen a forklift from the location driving over panels causing damage via a farmer’s field.

HEYBRIDGE

March 25, Hall Road: Suspect unidentified who is a taxi driver has stolen the victim’s bag whilst transporting the victim to a destination.

March 25, Everest Way: Suspect unknown has gained entry to the victim’s garden via an insecure side gate and removed an insecure white Whyte pedal cycle.

March 26, Swifts Boulevard: Suspect unknown has gained entry to the victim’s premises by means unknown.

The window has been wedged open and footprints are on the window sill and kitchen counter.

No items removed.

March 25, Hunt Avenue: Suspect unknown has by means unknown stolen the victims pedal cycle.

March 29, Oak Road: Suspect unidentified has attended the address and caused damage to the windscreen of the victims silver Ford Transit van by smashing flower pots onto it.

MALDON

March 29, Station Road: Suspect unknown has between times stolen victim’s mobile phone from her handbag.

March 26, Limebrook Way: Suspect unknown levered up the rear doors of a white Transit van and stole a quantity of gas fitters tools.

March 26, Mons Way: Suspect unknown have forced entry to victim’s silver Volkswagen Transit van and removed items.

MAYLAND

March 26, Canney Road: Suspect unknown has used an unidentified item to stab a puncture into the victims blue Nissan Qashqai front passenger side tyre.

SOUTHMINSTER

March 26, Station Road: Unknown suspects have broken open the defibrillator box attached to the front of the building causing damage.

March 31, North Street: Informant reporting suspect unidentified has entered the property by the front door which was unlocked.

Victim informed no items have been taken and as he returned in to the house from the garden he witnessed suspect leaving.

WICKHAM BISHOPS

March 26, The Street: Suspect unknown has taken two red Robin Laurel plants by pulling them out of the planter.

March 29, Witham Road: Suspects unknown have stolen the victims van index CP10 NRX from the location by means unknown.
