A School futsal team from Burnham have proved they are among the county’s best after a tournament.
Ormiston Rivers Academy’s under-13 side (pictured) came third in the competition at Essex University in Colchester.
Despite not winning tournament, the pupils were very “proud” to have achieved what they had, beating a number of larger schools from across Essex.
The school was the only one to have a Year Seven pupil playing in their team.
William Patience was the youngest player in the competition and notched up three goals.
Principal Joan Costello said: “A massive congratulations to all the pupils who took part in the futsal finals.
“We were delighted to see them represent Ormiston Rivers Academy and the whole squad should be incredibly proud of their performance.”
