CHILDREN in the district took the opportunity to dress up as their favourite good guys and bad guys for this year’s World Book Day.
Popular choices included the Gangsta Granny, wizards from the Harry Potter world and famous Disney characters.
Created by the United Nations, World Book Day is the world’s biggest campaign to provide every child and young person in the country with a book of their own.
