A VOLUNTEER gardening group is asking residents to beautify their town by planting flowers.
The Burnham on Crouch Green Spaces Group hopes the public will help them grow cosmos flowers at Burnham train station.
The appeal came on Tuesday – Plant a Flower Day.
A spokesman said: “If you can grow a few, please pick up some seeds.
“They are in a bag hanging from the shed on Plot 52 at the Burnham allotments.
"We aim to plant out in May.”
