A GREAT Totham man has denied harassing a woman and making threats to kill her.
Levi Draper, 49, of Staplers Close, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court charged with ‘conduct amounted to stalking’ and causing a woman to feel fear of violence.
He was accused of grabbing the woman’s arm during an incident in Maldon in November last year, causing bruising as well as going to her home address and shouting death threats.
It is alleged he told her to get into a car and scared her before going to her home address again.
Draper denied the charges when he appeared before magistrates.
He was also charged with taking a Mercedes C200 from an address in Witham on December 29 last year, which he also denied.
Draper has been remanded in custody until he appears at court again on July 2.
