A GOLD medal gymnast was among the guests at a Maldon secondary school’s careers evening.
Commonwealth Team GB member Alice Kinsella attended the Plume Academy careers evening with sponsors SCL Managed Services Limited.
An SCL spokesman said: “Alice signed autographs, had selfies and shared moments from the incredible year of 2018.”
Plume principal Carl Wakefield said: “It was absolutely fantastic to see over 60 local, regional and national organisations come together to create our annual careers fair.
“We also saw over 500 students, parents and carers attend the event which led to a vibrant and extremely positive atmosphere.”
Basildon-born gymnast Alice made her debut for Great Britain in the 2016 European Championships in Switzerland.
She won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in Australia earlier this year.
