WE will remember them.
In schools, at clubs, on sports fields.
On our High Streets, in shops, in pubs, in churches and while at home.
This year marks the centenary of the end of the Great War and alongside Remembrance events there will be special ceremonies to mark the occasion.
Members of the community have also come together to remember the fallen ranging from the elderly to the young.
From life-size Tommy silhouettes to knitted poppies, we have done our best to ensure the lost are not forgotten.
These acts have shown the pride, emotion and connection felt for our fallen heroes has not diminished.
And they help to pass on the message to the younger generation.
However we all choose to remember those who paid the ultimate price this weekend, we will have done their memory proud.
We will remember them.
